Keith Haring Stamps

Concept - This project involved creating a series of stamp designs in honor of Keith Haring, inspired by his iconic dancer characters. Each stamp celebrates movement and energy through bold, vibrant colors and dynamic illustrations that pay homage to Haring's distinctive style and artistic legacy.

Target Audience - The target audience includes collectors, and fans of Keith Haring’s work.. These stamps also appeal to those who appreciate unique, visually striking designs for everyday use when sending mail or display.

Role in Project - My role in this project was to craft visually captivating designs that capture the essence of Haring’s work while adapting his bold style to the compact format of a postage stamp. I focused on ensuring the designs remained impactful at a small scale, celebrating both the artistry and the functionality of the stamps.

Skills - I utilized strong illustration skills and a keen understanding of design principles, such as composition, scale, and color theory, to create cohesive and visually dynamic stamps.

Challenges + Successes - One challenge was balancing the intricate details of Haring’s characters with the limited space of a stamp. A key success was effectively adapting the movement and energy of his iconic dancers into a small, functional design while preserving their bold and joyful essence.
